His sire, Leeto Z was an exceptional stallion in many ways. Beautiful, correct conformation, powerful and elegant movement, combined with incredible scope make him an all-around exceptional athlete. Although, perhaps his best feature, is his intelligent and engaging personality that not only makes him a brave and willing partner, but also a quick learner and simple straight forward ride. At his Canadian Warmblood Stallion Performance Test, he was the highest scoring stallion for temperament and rideablity. From what we can tell, his foals all seem to have his temperament as well.
His Dam, Grafina was bred by Albert Kley from Spruce meadows. She was out of his favorite foxhunter mare, by the legendary Graf Grannus son Graf top. Graf Top is a very successful combination of Hanoverian and Holsteiner performance genes is found in the pedigree of the Celle State stallion Graf Top. His sire, Graf Grannus, and the sire of his dam, Calypso II, are both excellent producers of show jumping horses. With this pedigree and his own excellent jumping abilities the young Graf Top is at the beginning of a sire career that will no doubt increase the prestige of the Grannus line of showjumpers. His states premium dam consolidates his future by virtue of her legendary sire Calypso II and grandsire Gotthard. There are no better bloodlines in showjumping pedigrees.
