Bracha RPH
Bracha is on of my favorites, being one of Ruben's last foals.  She is beautiful, elegant and athletic. Bracha was recently approved by CWHBA and given PREMIUM status.  She was also the highest scoring mare at the inspection!

Her sire, Barricello, aka "Ruben" was imported as a 2 year old in 2006. Our intention at the time was to use him primarily as a breeding stallion. He had 2 good years of breeding before housing 2 stallions that could not get along, took its toll and Ruben was injured. We chose to geld him at that time. Some days this is a source of great disappointment, as he has produced some exceptional foals for us. However, he remains with us today and always, we are much too in love with his quirky personality to ever let him go. He is still one of my jumpers, and schools up to 1.20m easily with me, his amateur rider. His sire, is Balou du Rouet. Balou du Rouet, Oldenburg silver medalist of 2005, is one of the best German horses of his age group. Equipped with maximum elasticity in his gaits, he completed an excellent Stallion Performance Test awarded with the top marks of 9.5 and 10.0 for jumping by the ‘foreign’ judges. He has continued his sporting career in supreme style, winning several classes judged on style and ability up to “M level”. He won the final qualification at the German Young Horse Championships with the top score of 9.2 and in the final was one of the four best approved stallions in Germany. Sire Baloubet du Rouet, currently one of the most successful jumping stallions on the international stage (individual gold medallist at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, three-times World Cup Champion in a row, winner of many Grand Prix’s), has an exceptional pedigree. Grand sire Galoubet is son of the great stallion Almé. On the dam’s side, Balou du Rouet is directly related to the founder of the bloodline “Cor de la Bryere” from Holstein through Rantzau. The similarity can be seen in Balou du Rouet’s jumping style and ability. His stunning dam Georgia is by the increasingly popular Contender son, Continue. Once again, Balou du Rouet emphasises his dominant quality as a producer in type, elegance and movement with numerous foals at many different auctions. This year we look forward to seeing his offspring at their first approvals. His first crop of youngsters confirmed their quality at the approvals; one of his sons out of a Sandro mare was the most expensive premium stallion at the Oldenburg Approvals in Vechta. Ruben's dam is goes back to Landgraf I. Landgraf I is about as famous a name as you can get in the warmblood breeding world. Landgraf I has been described, along with another of Ladykiller’s stallion sons, Lord, as being “one of the two great jewels in the crown of modern Holstein breeding”. His name appears in the pedigrees of an enormous number of successful modern day showjumpers. Landgraf was amongst the first progeny of his TB sire Ladykiller, and his full brother Landgraf II (competing under the name of Leon III) born the following year, went on to compete at GP level with Manfred Schusselburg. Landgraf was little used in his earlier years, many German breeders at that time remaining suspicious of half-blood stallions. The real breakthrough came when, at the 1975 Equitana in Germany, he demonstrated his phenomenal jumping ability by clearing 6’6” several times during a single day. Landgraf transmitted his excellent temperament as well as his jumping ability to his offspring, and in his book, Dr Dietrich Rossow comments that “almost all the offspring are endowed with their sire’s jumping ability. In the beginning they jump rather awkwardly with less than ideal form which improves with increased maturity.”

Bracha's mom, Sansoucci TM, was a show jumper herself, who was bred because her owner didn't have time to ride her. During her first delivery, her pelvis was injured and she never returned to sport. She however was an incredible producer for us, giving us FIVE exceptional performance prospects.
