Luigi RPH
2017 CWB colt
Leeto Z x Kat Von Dee
Luigi RPH
Luigi is a fancy boy with legs for days.  We are delighted with our first foal from his mom!

Leeto Z is an exceptional young stallion in many ways. Beautiful, correct conformation, powerful and elegant movement, combined with incredible scope make him an all-around exceptional athlete. Although, perhaps his best feature, is his intelligent and engaging personality that not only makes him a brave and willing partner, but also a quick learner and simple straight forward ride. At his Canadian Warmblood Stallion Performance Test, he was the highest scoring stallion for temperament and rideablity. From what we can tell, his foals all seem to have his temperament as well.

Leeto Z’s sire is Lucino, who is by Landlord Z who is by Landgraf I. By the end of the 1980's, Landgraf I was rated best amongst all sires that had stood at stud in West Germany, and his sons can be found in most breeding regions throughout the world. Landgraf I became the most important sire of show jumpers in the twentieth century having sired the most money winning show jumping offspring in the World.

Leeto z’s mom is by Crack I who is by Corrado I. Through his dam's grandsire, Corrado I combines the blood of Cottage Son xx with that of Cor de la Bryere. Furthermore, he was unrelated to Ladykiller xx. All of these factors contributed to Corrado's own success, and his success as a match to the Holsteiner broodmare population. As a six-year-old, Corrado I was a finalist at the 1991 German Federal Championships, and he began his international career the following year under Franke Sloothaak. The qualities that made Corrado I a Nations Cup-caliber jumper - cleverness, quick reflexes, power, and speed - also made him a challenging partner. Sloothaak described the young stallion as distractible with a strong temperament, and quite difficult to ride. The pair competed on the international circuit to the World Cup level. As of 2006, Corrado I has produced 95 offspring for the international level show jumping arena. In 2008, Corrado I was ranked in 19th in the WBFSH list of top sires of FEI jumpers.

Cor de la Bryere is one of the most influential stallions in modern Warmblood breeding and can be seen in more than 70% of modern Holsteiner bloodlines. He was recognized as the "Reserve Stallion of the Century" second only to Landgraf I. "Corde" has produced many top-level competition horses including Contrast, the three-day Eventer, the international show jumpers, VDL Corland and Costa, plus the great 1988 Olympic Dressage Silver Medalist, Corlandus. He also sired Calando I through IV, Caletto I, II, and III, Calypso I through V, and Cordino. His offspring tend to have good free shoulders along with higher knee action making them very suitable for jumping. In 2004, Cor de la Bryère ranked 6th and in 2006 he ranked 15th for the USEF Leading Jumper Sires. Leeto’s dams sire is Ramiro Z. In 1969, Ramiro (G Ramiro Z) was the absolute top stallion of his performance year and was not only successful with breeding, but also in his jumping career under Fritz Ligges. He excelled in his puissance performances (up to 2.20 m) as well as in competition where speed was essential.

Ramiro moved to Studbook Zangersheide in 1979 and went to the Netherlands two years later. On the basis of his breeding efforts that earned him world-wide fame, he was declared Horse of the Year at Jumping Amsterdam in 1992. Ramiro is still at the top of the indexes in both jumping and dressage for many breed organizations today. In 2004, he ranked 8th for the USEF Leading Jumper Sires and 9th for Leading Hunter Sires for the.

With these world class bloodlines, elegant, modern type, tremendous work ethic and even temperament, Leeto Z is proving to be a sire that passes all of these attributes on to his progeny.

Von is a lovely, big mare who is a talented jumper and has for many years packed students of many levels around the hunter ring. She is in foal to Leeto Z for a 2017 foal.

Von's sire is MJ Fusion. He had a very short life unfortunately, but he was on his way to a promising career to follow in his father's footsteps. His sire is the remarkable Olympic Ferro. Olympic Ferro, the Dutch sensation at Aachen, competed at the 2000 Olympics and assisted his team in achieving a team silver medal, with an individual score of 74.92%. As a three-year-old he was champion of his performance test at Ermelo, where he achieved the outstanding results of 6.5--step, 8.5--trot and 8.5 gallop. His sire Ulft, is a son of the great Le Mexico, who is listed 10th on the jumping index with 142 points. Le Mexico carries Furioso xx blood, which brings value to any pedigree. Ferro's dam, Brenda, is a daughter of the Holsteiner, Farn, who is listed sixth on the jumping index with 146 points. Farn's son Nimmerdor, is listed second on the jumping index with 155 points. Olympic Ferro sired the champion of the three-year-old stallions at s'Hertogenbosch in 2000, and has nine young stallions in the second round there in 2001. The champion three year old mare at Ermelo in 2000 was an Olympic Ferro daughter. Much is expected of this charming, talented black stallion who achieved the title of "Keur" in 2000. He can be relied upon to produce beautiful, typy, talented offspring of the highest quality. Fantastic toplines and an elegant look characterize his get. In addition to their dressage excellence, Olympic Ferro's offspring also make good jumpers. Olympic Ferro is #1 on the BN World Stallion Rankings for dressage and is the top stallion and pride of the Netherlands, affectionately known as the "Black Pearl." In 2002 Olympic Ferro once again had the highest scores on the Dutch Olympic team. Fusion's mom's sire was Weragonia by Wendekind.

Von's mom's Dad was Fantast who was Imported from Belgium. This Belgium import was the paternal half brother to World Champion Big Ben. He was syndicated and stood in Western Canada for 9 years. He has produced over 150 foals and named a CWHBA foundation stallion. He is in 3 books, CWHBA, Sport horse and Celle Francais with some of the greats in his pedigree. It has been said by many experienced horsemen that Fantast was a broodmare sire. 12 years later that has proven true. 2 daughters winning the Alberta Provincial CWHBA Championships and their and other Fantast daughters offspring---winning or placing in the foal futurity for the past 10 years. His offspring have done well in our junior amateur market. Ian Millar took a son Called Roulette to Grand Prix wins in Europe and Canada. Fantast had been very successful with limited showing. He started his show career with winning the 2 year old Koring in Belgium and was then imported into Eastern Canada He was the Junior Stallion Champion at the Toronto Royal and Reserve Senior Stallion Champion at the Royal. He won CISS Low Jumper Championships, many hunter wins, and placed in the one dressage show he was entered in.
